Another Pretty Morning
Here we go again with another pretty morning! The sunrise sessions have been killin’ it lately! That was precisely the case during our sunrise session with Chad and Christy this week at Alabama Point East. The sky was painted in soft pastels, the waves were gentle, and the rocks created the perfect backdrop — just another beautiful start to the day here in Orange Beach.

We love sunrise sessions at Beach Shutters Photography. While it may take a bit of motivation to roll out of bed before the sun, the reward is always worth it. The light is soft and flattering, the beach is peaceful and quiet, and the sky often showcases dreamy shades of pink, lavender, and gold. Alabama Point East is one of our favorite photo spots for sunrise, thanks to its unique rocky features and expansive views of the water.

This session was extra special because Chad and Christy only take professional photos once every 15 years — need it or not, as they joked! We were honored that they chose Beach Shutters Photography for their rare but meaningful photo update. Their love, laughter, and playful energy made for some lovely and candid moments. Even if it’s not an annual tradition (yet!), we’re glad we could be part of their story this time around.
