What mama wants, mama gets! The family was more than happy to participate in this little gift for Alisa. She said all she wanted was photos with her family for her big day.. well that is almost all. There is the small beach trip that is involved too!

Sweetness times 3!
I first met this family a couple of years ago.
Alisa’s son Carson arranged engagement photos while they were here at the beach. He proposed to Heather, we got the photos and they had a lovely wedding. Fast forward 2 years and the rest of the crew is here for birthday photos in Perdido Key.

The family has a condo in Orange Beach, and they are here often.
This is their happy place, so it was the best background for family beach pictures and easy to get everyone here. Alisa knew they would drop everything for a beach trip, lol. Like I said, anything for mama!

Why did we choose to meet in Perdido Key for the Birthday photos?
I had a sweet spot in mind for her beach portraits. Behind the condo worked fine for Carson and Heather’s engagement photos, but for the whole family, we needed room. At Johnson’s beach in Perdido Key, we could spread out. Summertime at the condo can be crowded, but not at the beach that we chose.

It was a short drive, but well worth it.
The beach in Perdido Key is very picturesque. Lots of photographers use it for landscape photography and family mini sessions. There are dunes, sea oats and lots of open spaces. There is even a view of the sunset, which would have been blocked if we would have stayed at the condo to take photos.
