It is time for Christmas Beach Photos 2020 style!

We usually have Surfer Santa mini-sessions, which are extremely popular!  I get requests all year long for this event.  Everyone wants to make sure they don’t miss out on the yearly tradition.  This year will be a little different.  We will skip the usual Beach Santa pics and replace him with a lit Christmas tree on the beach.

I am sure Santa will be back, he just needs a year off.

Jolly ole St. Nick needs to practice social distancing, and wanted to send you his best “Ho, Ho, Ho!”  Due to the Alabama mask mandate, we were not comfortable asking him to get up close and personal with our little ones this year.  2020, sigh!

How do you like our 2020 idea for Christmas Beach Photos?

Here is an example of our daughter, Summer at the beach with our new lighted tree!  How is it lit… well, we have buried an extension cord that leads to my computer back-up battery, haha.  Making it sparkle was important, so we found a way.

A lone tree makes a statement.

After announcing our plan for this year’s Coastal Christmas photos on the beach, the emails came pouring in.

Apparently, we were all ready to celebrate the holidays, and this idea is in keeping with the current situation that we are all in together.  Staying safe is important to Beach Shutters & we want everyone to have a happy and healthy holiday season.

Keeping it simple was the goal.

We feel that getting back to the basics is important, and is what the season is about.  A simple tree, red wagon, star, and a few props are all we needed to put a little Christmas sparkle on our traditional beach portraits.  Come on out and participate in our brand new Coastal Christmas on the beach!
