Flipping Good Photos
How do you get flipping good photos? Preparation is key! Janice and her sons wore coordinating clothing. I especially like the yellow against the blue skies. Now that is eye-catching, isn’t it!
Timing is everything.
Beach Shutters Photography books photo sessions at sunrise and sunset for a reason. It just works! The soft lighting is best in the early morning and late evening for the shadow-free, no squinting look that we want in our beach portraits.
Trust your photographer to pose your family.
We do this every day, so we have a routine, or method, so to speak. I can just go into automatic mode and move your crew about freely into different poses that flow with our plan of casual beach photos. All you have to do is relax and smile.. at your photographer or at a family member. Either way, don’t worry, be happy!
Keep moving for flipping good photos.
Staying in motion can be a good thing when taking beach portraits. Walking, running, dancing, and playing with your family are some of our favorite photos. These types of pictures always seem so cheerful & joyous!
Be flexible.
Once in a while, we have to reschedule or start early due to clouds or rain. Even if we were aiming for sunset, if there are heavy clouds headed our way, we can get great afternoon photos. If we suggest a time change, and it works with your dinner, baby naps, and schedule, be flexible!
Janice & her boys did get flipping good photos!
This mother/son trip was as fun as it looks. I am so glad she called Beach Shutters Photography to capture her family beach photos this year. Her boys were so much fun to spend the afternoon with. They raced, played, and even flipped for photos. These are the memories that childhood is made of!
Thank you for considering us to be your photographer in Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Fort Morgan, Alabama. We also travel to Perdido Key, Destin, Rosemary, Seaside, Navarre, and 30A, Florida.
