Hi friends, you know we live and work in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, but we also travel all the way to Seaside Florida as your Gulf Coast Photographers! During peak season we mostly stick around the Alabama coast and Perdido Key, but during the rest of the year, it is travel time! The Florida Panhandle is one of our favorite places to visit and photograph.

Destin and the surrounding area is beautiful!

Beach Shutters photography does service the Destin and Florida panhandle area. Our next scheduled Destin weekends will be August 24-25, and after that, we will be back Oct. 20-22. I love the crystal clear water and white sands that Destin offers to all of the gulf coast photographers!

Even if it is not one of our scheduled “Destin-Seaside photography weekends”, we are only a couple of hours away and love a reason to head on over to Destin. If we don’t have photos scheduled here in Orange Beach, we may just grab the camera and go to Destin! (Just add $75 travel fee to our packages for Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Destin, Miramar, Seagrove, and Seaside)

The Destin area holds a special place in my heart.

Growing up in Atlanta, we visited Destin most every year. I continued the tradition with my kids until we moved to Orange Beach. Still, although I live at the beach in Alabama, there is something about returning to the vacation town of your childhood. Yes, the water is usually a bit clearer, and the sand may be a shade whiter than my home town. Regardless, it is just a tradition for me to visit the same beaches, Big Kahunah’s and eat at the Doughnut Hole!
