Hiking & Biking in Gulf Shores
If you are a lover of the outdoors, you must go hiking & biking in Gulf Shores. A vacation doesn’t have to be all about relaxing. It can be a good mix of everything you love, including exercise.
Bring the bike!
Kathi’s family came from all over the south to meet here in Gulf Shores. A couple of her family members brought their motorcycles. They found that Fort Morgan was a very scenic road for biking. A few other day trips would be to Pensacola, Perdido Key, and Fairhope. Although I would recommend bringing a backpack on this venture. There is plenty of good shopping in Fairhope, Alabama!
How about the nature trails?
If you are more of a bicycle rider, you are in luck. There are miles and miles of nature trails in Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan, and Orange Beach. In fact, the Backcountry Trails connect all 3 cities. You can spend days touring the Gulf State Parks on your bike or scooter.
Let’s Hike!
One of the brothers in this party loves to hike. He brought his spear as a photo prop to represent his love for hiking. I thought it was a great addition to the family photos! He jokingly told his friends that he walked to the beach. That would have taken days, haha! However, he did hike on the beach once he arrived by car. Alabama has miles of sandy white beaches, especially in the Fort Morgan area where they were renting a house.
Hiking & biking in Gulf Shores can be part of your vacation, too.
Even if you don’t want to pack the bikes, we have plenty of bike rental companies in town. We also have several boats, jet skis, and kayak rental companies if you want to keep the outdoor adventures coming.
Pack in as much fun as possible while you are beaching, hiking & biking in Gulf Shores.
When it comes time for photos, remember us. Beach Shutters Photography in Orange Beach would love to photograph your family with or without your hiking and biking gear.
