Morning Maternity Photos
Morning maternity photos make an excellent choice for expectant parents. First of all, it is always peaceful on the beach at sunrise. For this reason alone, we recommend sunrise photos to anyone willing to wake up early! Secondly, the morning air is much cooler than in the afternoon, helping to keep the sweating to a minimum. I know how pregnancy can heat a mama! Third, but not the final reason we love morning maternity photos is that couples usually don’t mind the early wake-up. When you have a large group, it can be challenging to round everyone up, but couples can get on the same page and knock it out!

Sunrise photo locations are plentiful!
There are more location options in the morning. Mainly because the beach is less crowded, we can use the popular rocks or even your condo beach without squeezing in between sunbathers. Another great reason to meet at the jetties at sunrise instead of sunset is that the sun will be visible to the east in your photo background. (In the evening, the sun sets behind buildings, so we do not get the advantage of seeing the actual sun in your pictures).

Mornings are not only for maternity photos.
Babies and toddlers seem more cooperative in the mornings as they start their day. A snack and a good night’s sleep do wonders for little and big people! I am telling you, it makes a difference in the level of attention. Meeting in the morning is possible because there are fewer distractions in the early hours, but it is undoubtedly better than trying to pay attention after a long day of playing at the beach.
