We are excited to travel again and be your photographers in Destin & 30A. Now that our busy summer is behind us, we have time to travel. This means taking a couple of photo sessions in the Destin, 30A, Alys Beach, Seaside, Rosemary beach, and Panama City area.

Hello Florida Beaches!

We are back!

It has been a few months since our last sessions in Florida, and we have missed the treat of travel. Beyond our Alabama beaches, just across the state line, are the panhandle of Florida beaches. Beach Shutters likes the adventure of meeting new people and seeing new places. The challenge of taking photos at other nearby beaches is one that we happily take on. It is always a fun experience to step out of our comfort zone & hang out in Destin & 30A as tourists.

There is no better background than this!

I like to make a day of it.

Yes, we live close enough to run over for evening photos and be back home right around bedtime. That is not the way it usually works out, though. I like to stop along the way to put my feet in the water, walk on the white sandy beaches and eat at Pompano Joes! Sometimes I also stop off at the outlets of Destin, but now I am just telling on myself!

Beach days are the best days!

Why do we love being photographers in Destin & 30A?

The water is slightly bluer on most days & the sand is sugary white. Almost just like our Alabama beaches, it is just enhanced. Destin is very popular for travelers and is usually quite crowded from Spring Break to Labor Day. This time of year, however, the beach is less crowded. For me, this means a mini vacation and less waiting for my crab cake sandwich at Pompano Joe. Visiting Destin is a fun experience every time. Different is good.
