Coastal Orange Beach Photos
Coastal Orange Beach photos are in progress this year! Every evening at sunset and most mornings, our Alabama beaches are swarming with smiling families & local photographers. Vacationers are out making memories & so many of you want to take the memories home with beach pictures. The Shores Family worked the Lifeguard stand #2 into the photos to commemorate the youngest second birthday.

I couldn’t resist that little play on words. Meet the Shores Family! Do they look familiar? You may have seen these sweet faces if you have ever scrolled our Beach Shutters Photography website, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, or Twitter. Hannah & Joel have allowed me to take their family’s vacation beach portraits for many years.

We have a joke that their photos get better and better every year. No kidding, What do you think? Here are last year’s photos taken at sunrise. This year they went with a sunset because a little girl likes to sleep in! I think they do! We have used the Alabama Point East, Pavilion, Turquoise Place Beach, and Johnson’s Beach for years. Some years we meet for sunset; other times, they are brave and wake the kids up for sunrise photos. Those are the years that they go straight from beach pictures to the Pirate & Princess breakfast at the Hangout in Gulf Shores. Bribery works every time!
This is the reason for sunset photos. A little princess likes her beauty sleep!
Traditions make vacations great.
I am so glad this family has incorporated photo day with Beach Shutters into their yearly trip to the coast of Alabama. Looking forward to repeating the same things each year is a sweet treat. Of course, mixing a few surprises treats into each year’s vacation is the sprinkle on top!

We have our favorites and can suggest the time of day to meet at any of the state parks. Sunrise or sunset, there is something that fits each family’s needs. As the Shores have found, mixing it up according to the kids’ ages and the dinner plans keeps it fresh & exciting.
