Colorful Skies
Colorful skies have a way of turning a simple beach walk into a full-blown moment. At Beach Shutters Photography, we see it all the time, but it’s different every day! One evening, it’s soft pastels. Another night it’s fiery orange and pink. Meanwhile, every session feels a little different, because the coast loves to surprise us.

Blakely and her family were the perfect example of this magic. Teens were involved, which always makes the session extra fun. However, teens can also be a little… selective with their enthusiasm. That’s exactly why hiring a professional photographer helps so much. When posing guidance comes from a photographer, there’s usually less resistance than when it comes from parents. Oddly enough, this is true for teens, toddlers, and even grandpas. Everyone relaxes faster. Everybody listens better. Suddenly, we’re getting real smiles instead of “cheese” smiles.

That day offered several beautiful colors in the sky as the sun set. Pink showed up first. Then came hints of lavender. After that, the clouds grabbed the light and turned it into a soft watercolor look. Even so, Beach Shutters Photography can’t guarantee colorful skies. No one can. In fact, we’ve never seen the same sunset or sunrise twice. That’s the beauty of it. Mother Nature doesn’t repeat herself.
