This is Lauren doing what she loves!

She is a dancer, so after photos, her mom said she would like some pictures in her pink skirt. Wow! Lauren’s talent and grace blew me away. What a lovely way to remember this stage in her life. I am so thankful her mom suggested this extra 5 minutes of beauty that will last forever.

Life is full of wonder.

Some of my clients are willing to show off their skills. We have had multiple instruments, cheer uniforms, baseball gloves, and dancers brought to photos. Please tell us if a family member has a special gift that needs to be captured by your photographer.

The smallest of moments are full of expression.

Collecting shells or building a sandcastle are two things that almost all kids love. Taking photos of your darlings in action is so special to me. After all, seeing a family interact or a child showing interest in an activity does show the spirit of the moment. A simple walk together, holding hands, or the ever-so-popular family jump (I love the competition between siblings for this one) tells a great story.

So often, we ask families to “pick a partner” and dance for a photo. The camera doesn’t capture the rhythm, but it does catch the smile and laughter, even if you feel silly. You look marvelous!
