Taking Photos at the Beach Pavilion is always a pleasure!

Brian and Kristin decided to meet me for photos at the Beach Pavilion in Gulf Shores.  This is a relaxed meeting place that is easy to find and photographs great every time.  Scroll through her photos by clicking the link to see some of my favorites from this session.

I especially like the sea oats at this location.

This particular State Park has dunes as far as the eye can see.  They are topped with flowy sea oats that make any family photo pop.  In addition to the dunes and sea oats, there is a wooden boardwalk and wonderful water views.  All of these views are just steps from the parking lot, so there is not a long walk involved.

Do you want sunset photos?

This is my favorite location for an unobstructed sunset view.  For the last few shots of your family photos at the Beach Pavilion, we can turn to the west and have a great sunset.  There are no buildings in this shot, and that is a rare find on the Alabama Gulf Coast.

We have the place to ourselves!

Even during the busiest of our tourist season, this place is never crowded.  They do not provide a beach service of chair/umbrella set-ups, so these are never in our photos.  Most beachgoers and sunbathers stop right at the end of the boardwalk to set up their chairs and towels.  If we walk just a bit further east, we can have the beach to ourselves!

Do you want a classic beach look?

The photos taken at the Beach Pavilion have a classic look. This is an unspoiled stretch of natural beach, just like in the old days.  There is not a condo in sight!
