Senior Portraits for Girls

Beach Shutters Photography loves taking senior portraits for girls and boys! The beach is the very best background for not only family beach photos but senior portraits, as well. Usually, we can do both at the same time!

Meet Emma.

She is visiting Gulf Shores, Alabama, with her family this summer from Tennessee! In preparation for family vacation photos, she packed an extra sundress and school T-shirt for her quick senior portraits for girls session.

Between family groupings, she was able to change behind a beach towel.

This gave her all the looks she wanted and allowed her to stay dry. You know the splashing and water photos are my favorite! Luckily, Emma agreed that getting her clothes wet was okay, especially since she had a couple of options in her beach bag.

Sunrise photos worked out best for this crew since they had a baby in their party.

Little ones or not, sunrise is a great summer choice for several reasons. The beach is not crowded in the mornings, which is a big deal in July. We met at their condo, the Phoenix West, so our only option for backgrounds was to walk to the water’s edge. This would have been a bustling area at sunset, but mornings are much more relaxed and comfortable! I am talking 20 degrees cooler.

Senior Portraits for Girls are fun for everyone!

What an exciting time for young ladies. As a rule, girls love having their photos taken, and in this case, the rest of the family had fun watching Emma’s model. She had towel holders for her portable dressing area and a hair salon attendant on duty, aka mom!
