Sky on Fire
Some evenings at the beach are beautiful; this evening, the sky was on fire. Then, there are evenings when the sky decides to completely show off. This was one of those nights.
Sunset is my favorite color.
As the sun began to sink toward the horizon, the sky filled with the prettiest shades of gold, coral, pink, and soft purple. Each passing minute brought a new color, creating the perfect backdrop for two beautiful sisters and an evening filled with laughter, movement, and fun.

With only the two sisters being photographed, there was plenty of time to relax and play. They could run along the shoreline, splash in the waves, twirl in the sand, laugh together, and simply enjoy being sisters. There was no need to rush from one large family grouping to the next. Instead, we were able to capture the sweet connection between them along with all the fun, silly moments that make their relationship unique.

Just when we thought the sunset could not become any prettier, the colors grew deeper and brighter. It looked as though the entire sky had been painted just for them. The warm glow reflected across the water, the breeze moved through their hair, and the girls brought the energy and joy that made every photograph come alive.
Photographers never know what the evening has in store. What a lovely surprise!
