The things that matter most in life aren’t things at all! The people in your life and the time you spend with them make a difference! Take that vacation with the kids, even if you have to squeeze it in and don’t have the funds. Make it work for your sake and theirs as long as you can!

Quality time with the kids!

Meet Kylie. This pretty mama brought her children to the beach for no reason other than to spend quality time with them. Isn’t she beautiful! Cinderella came to mind when I met her. After a photo session, I realized that she not only looks like a fairy princess but also acts like one! These two kids are so blessed to have such a caring, attentive mom!

Keep your kids wild- don’t make them grow up too fast.

Let them run in the waves, splash each other, and be silly in photos. There will be plenty of occasions for serious photo sessions. The beach is one place where kids naturally show their joy and personality. Let them run wild! The happy images will tell you later that you made the right decision. Clothes can be laundered, the sand can be vacuumed out of the car, and the memories cannot be replaced. Make each moment count!

The things that matter most are not material.

Spend twice as much time with your kids and half as much money. I heard this a while back, and it makes sense. Instead of buying things, plan experiences—together! Kids do grow up fast! If you plan one or two vacations a year, that is still less than 40 trips as a family, and you get to concentrate all your attention on your relationships.
