Raising Grandkids

Tracy is raising grandkids in such a beautiful way. Honoring her late daughter, Brianna, she did not miss a step in adopting her three precious children when she passed. It has been healing for Tracy and the kids to be together and always remember the daughter and mother that they will forever miss.

It is their job.

Continuing Traditions.

When Tracy took over raising her grandkids, she aimed to keep life as usual. Their routines needed to be as uninterrupted as possible as they navigated life without Brianna. Just because the worst thing happened did not mean the best in life could not continue. There is so much to be thankful for, even when grieving.

This is year 3, and I have taken photos of Tracy and her darlings!

Brianna loved Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Every summer, the three children come to Gulf Shores to celebrate the life of a mom. This year, they started with a week in Fort Morgan (in Gulf Shores) to relax and unwind before moving to the heart of Perdido Key to let the good times roll. Their time remembering mom involves many fun activities, making for a fun-filled vacation while raising grandkids.

Happy, well-adjusted children. That is how Tracy raises her grandchildren.

Raising Grandkids is exhausting, but Tracy wouldn’t have it any other way.

These three are her life and what she has left of her daughter. They adore her, and she loves them to pieces. It makes me so happy to be able to take their photos every year and hear about the progress the children have made. Brianna would be proud to look down and smile at her family from heaven.
