Senior Portraits for Boys
Parents usually insist on having Senior Portraits for Boys because the guys don’t care much for photo sessions. This is a well-known fact, isn’t it, mama? Haydn felt neutral about this milestone photo session, so Angelia integrated his senior photos into the yearly family beach session.
Sneaky, but smart!
The annual extended family beach vacation with Aunt Heather’s family and Grandmom went as usual. Lots of good eating, laughing, beach time, and the sunset photo session that the kids have become accustomed to with Beach Shutters Photography. Angelia threw in an extra Hawaiian shirt for Haydn & told him to let me take a few additional photos. Done!
It took 5-10 extra minutes but marked a once-in-a-lifetime milestone.
Graduation from high school signifies so much to parents and seniors. It is the step between childhood and adulthood. Many emotions come with this accomplishment, and the unknown is real for kids and parents alike. Change is coming, and for this young man, it will be great!
Senior Portraits for boys are easy!
When posing a male senior, it is helpful to have a place to lean. Wooden or textured surfaces photograph well, so we met at the Shell Beach location to use both the lifeguard stand and the wooden boardwalk. It is always less awkward for boys to have a place to lean or sit for portraits.
Haydn nailed it!
What a handsome senior! It has been a pleasure watching him grow up. Year after year, his family has been one of my loyal clients. I am so thankful that they have trusted Beach Shutters to be their local beach photographer in Orange Beach for many years.
Fun Fact:
We have a tradition of not using the exact location twice. In addition, we only use the beach as a background every other year. This allows the family photos to be a variety of places and experiences. Each year, I look forward to discovering where we will meet and enjoy the excitement of fresh & new photo locations.
