The Countdown is on! Reese and Alex are getting married soon. Beach Shutters Photography is honored to have taken this beautiful girl’s photos since middle school, including family photos, senior portraits, and engagement pictures. Reese’s family is very special to me!

I told him this when we met for photos. He is marrying into one of my favorite local families! What a well-mannered young man. He says he knows he is a lucky man, lol! Although they have known each other for quite some time, the proposal happened recently. You see, Alex attends school in New York City, so the couple doesn’t see each other very often. Alex joined her family for a vacation to Alaska recently and surprised her by bringing a ring to ask for her hand in marriage before the extended family. Isn’t that the sweetest love story?

She is always smiling and has the sweetest temperament. I know her through her grandmom, who is also a local photographer. Reese is their pride and joy. Family means the world to her, and she is pretty sentimental.

When deciding what to wear, Reese tried her mom’s wedding dress. She immediately knew she had found the best dress for her engagement photos! What a classic white dress that fits her perfectly. Like I said earlier, she is family-oriented and sentimental. Her parents are so proud that she chose this dress for her engagement announcement photos.
