Wedding Photography

I love wedding photography!   Love is in the air, and you can just feel the excitement!   After all, this is your Big Day!  All of the planning, dreaming, and coordination has come down to the next few hours.  This is it, so enjoy!  I make it my job to capture this feeling with creative photography so that when it is all said and done, the photos will be your way to relive the best day of your life!

There are so many opportunities for creativity during a wedding ceremony and reception.

When photographing a wedding, I always speak to the bride first.  I want to make sure we get her “key shots”.  Is there a guest that we need to give special attention?  Maybe there are 3 generations that have not been together in years?  Is there a guest that has traveled many miles to be with you on this day?  Perhaps she has seen a great shot on Pinterest that she wants to recreate.  This is my personal favorite!

My future

I like to combine several photography styles for each wedding.

Often mixed with traditional wedding photography,  I take a photojournalism approach.  The object is to tell your story with an informal approach.  At any time if I see a magical moment, for example, the way the flower girl is looking at the bride in awe, I will frame and snap.  My favorites are usually the informal moments that unfold before us.
